Robbie Burns Day

This year we had our first everRobbie Burns Day dinner. Darcy, Leah and Lola came to have dinner with us.

No Robbie Burns Day would be complete without Scotch. Thanks to Dad's job there is quite a bit of it in the house. Unfortuanately Mom and Leah don't drink scotch.

After the Dad 'piped' in the haggis (thanks iTunes!) Selkirk Grace and the Blessing and Stabbing of the Haggis - it was chow time! We enjoyed a great potato leek soup, haggis, turnip, green beans and potato focatia. To end the feast we had vanilla ice cream with cracked pepper and scotch.

There was a lot of cuteness going on... I sensed a BFF moment at the talbe as the girls enjoyed their after dinner digestive cookies...

Looking Back

A look back at Dustind when he was 8 months!

Maddy is 8 Months

Time is flying!

Maddy is babbling away. She is starting to move around a bit by sliding around on her bum or by doing the splits and leaning over to reach things. She loves to laugh when her brother laughs. One of her favourite toys at the moment is a cork... yes that is correct - she is going to love wine as much as her mom and dad! She loves to splash in the tub. She still wakes up at least once a night... but gives mom at least one 7 - 8 hour stretch of sleep in the night.

Sweet - Heart

It's been a busy week!

Nana is back from Florida and we couldn't wait to go up to visit her. She brought back my Jet's shirt - I've had it on almost every day this week! Check out my great football pose.

Maddy got a cute valentine's outfit that mom loves!

We are glad you are home Nana and Barchleigh. Papa we miss you and can't wait for spring to come so that we can have a welcome home party for you.

Mom and I baked Chocolate Chip and Pecan cookies. I think that they are our best ones yet. I've been sharing them with all of my friends!

No school today so I had a play date in the morning and another one this afternoon. Off to the cottage tonight to do some sking and then brunch with Annie and Guncle this weekend!

Boy what a week!

SAC family day

For the third year we went up to Daddy's old high school for a family day.
I played soccer in the gym, bounced in the bouncy castle and played with my friends!
It was great to see BJ, Tanner, Maya, Zach and Lola (pictured below with her mommy cute!).
We ate a yummy dinner in the dining hall and then went home to bed.
Maddy enjoyed the day in her stroller taking in all of the festivities. We can't wait for Maddy to run around next year with all of us!

Our Fashionista

Hey - look at me in my bikini! Mom and Dad took me to the pool with Dutind and though that the bikini was too cute. I'm getting pretty good at my camera pose. As soon as Mom or Dad bring out the camera I try to give one of my best smiles.
Below I am sporting some of my santa gifts. A cool poncho and matching leg warmers. Perfect for a cold winter day so that I can still wear a skirt and stay warm

Super Fun Friday

Even though it was cold out - we had a super fun Friday last week!
Mom bundled us both up and we went toboggoning at the park. It snowed all day so I brought my shovel in case I needed to dig a path in the snow.
For dinner we made yummy home made calzone's as a family.

Yup... Milk is gone and cookie has been nibbled
