U5 Soccer

And the season begins. Coach Carl kicks off the season by getting the team outfitted and starting off with a soccer cheer! Dustind chose '5' - well... because he is 5. He showed me some of his great running skills during warm up. Even though Ben was wearing an Italy shirt and not a Germany fan he is still my best friend and I'm glad that he is on my team! Go Royal Blue Go!

Maddy loves her food! Especially raspberries and bananas.

A hot spring day

It's hard to believe it is still May! This weekend we enjoyed splashing in our pool and playing on the playset. Dustind was a pirate and Maddy just wanted to climb on board the ship!!!

Maddy is One!

Maddy turned one on May 24! We had a wee celebration with presents in the morning and dinner and cake in Orillia with nana and papa. Maddy's latest words are - 'more' she likes to say this as we shop and of course when she is hungry. She climed up the stairs on her birthday and then a week later climed up the slide of the playset (with Mom spotting her of course!). When she sees a banana she calls it a 'nana'. Daycare also celebrated by painting a message on the infant room window.

A busy May

Mom is back to work and not as good at blogging... but we have been taking a lot of pictures! Strawberry Patch school play was a success with Dustind playing a police-man. Mom has to figure out how to save the videos from the new camera to the computer and then upload and we will show off Dustind's talent! Maddy has been busy practicing walking, colouring and generally getting into everything.
