Champaigne!

What do you do with a thousands of bottles of champaing in an ancient chalk cellar built by monks? DRINK IT!!!

We were fortuanate enough for a private tour of Tattinger - including unlimited champaigne for tasting. Carl was in his 'happy' place with this stop of our European tour this past summer!!

Paris (delayed!)

I'm a bit late at posting our Paris pictures... but given that it was a 10 year anniversay trip I guess I'm not too far off of the anniversary! The first and second are from the Louvre - the first I lay down on the floor to take the shot - the beauty of this historic landmark extended beyond the priceless works of art on the walls - but the actual building itself. We work up early in the morning to get in line before it opened!
No trip to Paris is complete without stopping at Laudier for a world famous macaroon!
We didn't leave a lock on the bridge and throw a key in the Seine to seal our eternal love... we had that engraved on our wedding bands 10 years ago!

As you can see the weather was spectacular... and we saw as much as you can for two days in Paris! I can't wait to go back and hopefully it won't be long

Halloween!!!

It's a spooky time of year!! Dustind and Maddy had several costume changes between friends parties, school parties, town activities and the main event!

Maddison was about 4 different versions of a 'princess' all with costumes from her costume box. So mommy decided that she should dress as the Queen (for her adult friends Queen Cersi Lanniser as it is the house of the Lion and she is a Leo after all).

The men were superheros - Dustind was the best Captain America and Daddy... well he rocked the hulk. Maddison told us after that the hulk was strong enough to lift up almost anything, but Daddy didn't even really try on Halloween night.

Old McDonald's Farm

Maddison's Montessori school went on a farm trip. Activties included but were not limited to:
- Wagon Ride
- Feeding animals
- Horse ride
- Decorating pumpkins
- Playing in the barn
- Art's and Crafts
- A delicious lunch
What a lucky girl!!!

Everybody was kung fu fighting

Those kids were fast as lightning

In fact it was a little bit frightning,

 they faught with expert timing....

Thanksgiving

One of our favourite places to visit at Thanksgiving is the cottage. The leaves are always beautiful and we love to visit Nana's pet 'deer' in the forest!
