Maddy is 15 Months

Maddy's love of a hat continues... if she walks by one, she has to stick it on her head. Doesn't matter if it is her own, Dustind's, Daddy's or even the bike helmet. Maddy loves a hat.

Maddy is trying to talk all the time now.
Hat, Shoes, Up, Down, No and her own little jibber jabber. She likes to sing, to dance and chase her big brother around the house

Mom's camera isn't working too well lately... so our 15 month picture by the chair is a bit fuzzy - but look at those red shoes! Dustind just got his back-to-school hair cut and looks so handsome - he won't wash his hair now for a few days in fear of messing up his hair do... seriously.

End of Soccer Season

I pretty much had the best soccer coach ever - even though I didn't score a goal this year. We got cool trophies, timbits, a juice box and a craft on the last day. My friend Ben came with a very cool spiderman face painting. He ran around the field making spider man moves- so much fun!

This is Victoria, myself and Ben. Victoria was the best player on our team

This is all of us! Jack at the front is also in my Strawberry Patch Classs. I am getting to know so man kids in Stouffville!
Again... mom and dad not too good on the camera!
We spent a few days up North. Mom and Dad played in the Johnny while we stayed with Nana and Papa for a couple of Days. Dustind went for an hour long boat ride with Papa - Dustind still is the only person other than Papa to drive Papa's super fast boat. They went for coffee to the coffee shop and worked together in Papa's wood working shop.
Nana chased Maddy and discovered the best way to pace it - is to take maddy for walks in her stroller - Nana walked a lot.

Mom and Dad picked us up and brought us up to Jon and Athena's cottage. We played with Alexandra and Zach. Zach has a cool bouncy castle that we played in - even Dad and Maddy joined the fun.

Mom went for a sail with Uncle Stu in his new boat - it was Mom's first time in a lot of years and she had a blast.

I was on raft patrol and went out swimming a few times to check out the rafts. I thought that the raft was called the 'menopause' because I have frineds who call their deck by the dock 'the menopause'. Mommy told me that this is just a fun name that Simon's Nana called her special deck...

Mom went on raft patrol with me and then we decided to swim from Uncle Jon to Uncle Stu's dock.

We also went for a boat ride - I was so relaxed I fell asleep.

Thanks uncle Jon and Athena and Stu and Kim for a great time!

Kate's Wedding

It was quite the drive but we made it. 401 was at a dead stop so we used the navigation and took back roads half the way to Kingston! We had to stop along the way as Dustind 'christened' the back of Nana's nice convertable - good thing it is leather!! Nana said if anyone could throw up in her car Dustind could... It was a beautiful day - bride and groom were stunning! Both kids were great - by the end of the night Maddy was litterally covered in muck and Dustind was thrilled that he was able to eat a 'Strawberry Sandwich' and piece of cake.

The Skinner family... Mom and Maddy are hidden and Dustind is literally hiding!

We took advantage of being in the area and went to visit our frineds Simon and Blake and Brianna at their newly built cottage for a couple of days after the wedding. We swam at a minimum three times each day!
All in all a great trip even though we don't have many photos to share.

Colour my world

Who knew that colouring was so much fun... but why doesn't it work on the floor mommy???

Maddy at 14 months

A lot more active Maddy doesn't like to sit still for too long to get a picture. In this one she was trying to rock the chair...

Maddy likes to walk her babies around in her stroller - this is Dustind's stroller that she is giving a spin! Maddy was trying out her dress to wear to Mommy's cousins wedding

'Shoes' have become a very important part of Maddy's wardrobe - she really doesn't like to go anywhere without them and will cry for her preference if you don't select the right pair.

Between work and play it has been an very busy summer.... Hopefully mommy will do a better job this fall at getting back to blogging
