Dustinds Top Picks

These are my favourite pictures because:
I helped decorate the cake and I love sparklers.
We are selling the couch and TV and I wanted these pictures for a memory.
The reindeer is pretty because it lights up at night so I decided to take a picture of it.
The T-Rex I drew with my friends at daycare on a PA day - Benjamin, Christian and Me.
I chose my advent calendar because it is fun to open and see suprizes there.
I took a picture of the pillow because I like fire trucks and it is so snuggly.
I chose the snowman on the table because my nana gave it to me.
The kool-aid thing is cool because you put stuff in it and my mom works for it.

Partying with Animals

Two parties... overlapping each other means mom was a bit of a busy woman on Saturday!!
When we arrived to pick up Dustind there were animals there.... crocodile, rabbit, chincilla, snake, turtle...
It was a wild party for sure!

Marshmallow Princess

Marshmallows anyone?

Christmas Decorating!

Decorations went up early this year. Usually we are a December 1st kind of family - but a warm Sunday mid-November was the only encouragement we needed to get the lights up and hang the wreath from the front of the house. This is a great annual tradition that the boys look forward to every year. (Dustind just likes to sneak out his window and stand on the roof!)
Dusind and Maddy also took on the task of pulling out all of the indoor decorations from storage to surprise Mommy one day. So we are fully decorated and ready for the holiday season! Maybe that is why Dibit has been a bit more mischevious this year?

A visit with Santa

This year Kraft family day was at the ACC. Even more fun this year was Nana was able to come with us. Although we didn't make it on the ice to skate with teh others there was plenty of fun to be had. We each built our own bear (I made a stuffed Moose and Maddy made an elephant). We had our faces painted, Dad got a cool air-brush tattoo and so did Mom and Nana!!! We ate lots of yummy food, saw Sanata and even got gifts!

Dibit the Milroy House Elf

Dibit is our house elf. Dibit arrivves every holiday season, keeps an eye on the kids, reports to Santa and gets into a lot of mischief in the meantime. We think that Dibit has a bit of a sweet tooth... drinking syrup, snow angels in mint chocolate chips, sleeping in marshmallows and getting into the gum drops. Who knows what mischief Dibit will get into this December... but so far Dibit has kept us on our toes!

Champaigne!

What do you do with a thousands of bottles of champaing in an ancient chalk cellar built by monks? DRINK IT!!!

We were fortuanate enough for a private tour of Tattinger - including unlimited champaigne for tasting. Carl was in his 'happy' place with this stop of our European tour this past summer!!

Paris (delayed!)

I'm a bit late at posting our Paris pictures... but given that it was a 10 year anniversay trip I guess I'm not too far off of the anniversary! The first and second are from the Louvre - the first I lay down on the floor to take the shot - the beauty of this historic landmark extended beyond the priceless works of art on the walls - but the actual building itself. We work up early in the morning to get in line before it opened!
No trip to Paris is complete without stopping at Laudier for a world famous macaroon!
We didn't leave a lock on the bridge and throw a key in the Seine to seal our eternal love... we had that engraved on our wedding bands 10 years ago!

As you can see the weather was spectacular... and we saw as much as you can for two days in Paris! I can't wait to go back and hopefully it won't be long

Halloween!!!

It's a spooky time of year!! Dustind and Maddy had several costume changes between friends parties, school parties, town activities and the main event!

Maddison was about 4 different versions of a 'princess' all with costumes from her costume box. So mommy decided that she should dress as the Queen (for her adult friends Queen Cersi Lanniser as it is the house of the Lion and she is a Leo after all).

The men were superheros - Dustind was the best Captain America and Daddy... well he rocked the hulk. Maddison told us after that the hulk was strong enough to lift up almost anything, but Daddy didn't even really try on Halloween night.

Old McDonald's Farm

Maddison's Montessori school went on a farm trip. Activties included but were not limited to:
- Wagon Ride
- Feeding animals
- Horse ride
- Decorating pumpkins
- Playing in the barn
- Art's and Crafts
- A delicious lunch
What a lucky girl!!!
